Hello There,

    Welcome!  I hope you are doing well today!  This past week was so busy! I had a couple of gatherings with friends and a few doctor appointments. The friends were fun; the doctors... not so much. Apparently, I have some unusually fast-growing polyps in my gallbladder, which resulted in my surgeon highly recommending its removal—especially given my history of breast cancer. After obtaining a second opinion and talking with my family, I've decided to part ways with my gallbladder. I've heard it's a pretty easy surgery to recover from.

Hello There,
Happy Fourth of July to all of you who celebrate!  I hope you have fun and are all safe this weekend! 
Thank you all for your prayers for Elisa.  She passed away about 10 days ago surrounded by her loving family.  Please remember to pray for her family as services will be in about a week.  

Since February, our family and close friends have been experiencing great difficulties ranging from deaths, illnesses, crises and life threatening situations.  We have been supporting each other with love and I dearly want to continue supporting these precious ones free ...

Weekly Word: Unto To Thee + Stitching and Gratitude This Week! from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

 

Hello there!

Here in Las Cruces, out temps have been over 100 degrees!  We now make sure our errands are completed by 11:00 am!  I'm also adding an extra, 5 minute run of our sprinkler system at dusk.  Whew!

I have to say I'm still enjoying having a retired husband at home!  We're going on 8 weeks and still loving it!  True story:  when he would go to work after a week or so at home, I'd shed a few tears as he drove off.  Yes, after 42 years, I'd still miss him.
